Today you embark on a city tour of the capital city of Uganda Kampala. Visit some remarkable and historical sites,
including the Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, the Uganda Museum and of course the African Craft Village.

Early morning depart for Murchison Falls National Park, the most beautiful protected area in Uganda.
Enjoy a lunch stop in Masindi before entering the park. Visit the magnificent falls and marvel at the mighty Nile flowing into a seven-meter crevice, thundering 45 meters below in a series of cascades. This spectacular scenery can be viewed from different points up at the baler’s summit.

Approximately: A 7-hour drive.
After an early morning breakfast, you will enjoy a half-day game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, escorted by a ranger.
Game in this part includes elephants, giraffes, Jackson hartebeests, lions, oribis, waterbucks, and a variety of savannah woodland birds. After lunch, we will go on a Nile cruise for game viewing at close quarters. Watch how hippos take a bath, elephants come to drink, and crocodiles lie lazily at the shores.

Depart Murchison Falls for Fort Portal. For approximately eight hours, you will drive through the countryside and enjoy scenic views.
The town of Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the renowned Mountains of the Moon and is famous for its many tea plantations.
Overnight: Primate Lodge Kibale (LD). For an upgrade, you can stay at Kyaninga Lodge.
After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive towards Semliki National Park. Enjoy the magnificent view at the River Semliki and Congo.
After arriving in the protected area, a ranger will accompany you on a beautiful nature walk through the Ituri Rainforest. Enjoy the calmness of the forest, look out for the rich birdlife at the swamp, and boil an egg in the hot springs.

Today you will track the chimpanzees through the Kibale Forest, known for having the highest concentration of primates in East Africa.
Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey, and many others. After lunch, we transfer to the Bigodi Swamp for a 2-hour nature walk. The Bigodi Swamp Walk is an initiative of the local community and is known for its rich diversity of birds and primates.

On this day, you will take a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
A game drive in the national park gives you the chance to spot waterbucks, warthogs, and other wildlife.

Travel Time: Approximately 2-3 hours’ drive.
After breakfast, descend into the Kyambura Gorge in search of the chimpanzees.
It is a beautiful walk through the river valley, home to many birds and butterfly species. After lunch, take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George.

Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector.
Search for the tree-climbing lions in the fig trees within the Ishasha sector. Enjoy the lush countryside as you pass traditional homesteads and farms on your way to Bwindi.

Meet endangered mountain gorillas, the gentle giants of Bwindi!
Tracking the mountain gorillas takes 3–10 hours, depending on their location in the forest. The trek can be challenging, involving long distances, steep and muddy trails, and unpredictable weather conditions. However, the effort is rewarded with the awe-inspiring experience of observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour to ensure their conservation. Before the trek, a ranger guide will brief you on how to behave around the gorillas.

After breakfast, hike to the 3 waterfalls in the Bwindi Impenetrable.
The hike to the 3 waterfalls in Bwindi is an exceptional experience, especially for bird watchers. Along the way, you’ll encounter monkeys, baboons, warthogs, and duikers. Accompanied by a local guide, this 3-hour walk through the Buhoma village offers insight into the local culture.
You’ll have the chance to observe how local crafts and beer are made from bananas, as well as how the Waragi Gin is distilled from the same fruit. A traditional healer will also demonstrate how plants from the ancient forest are used for medicinal purposes.
Additionally, you’ll visit the Batwa Pygmy community, where Batwa guides will take you on a fascinating hike through the rainforest. Learn about their traditional ways of living, hunting, and the medicinal plants they use.
Hear ancient legends, traditional songs, and even join in a mock hunting party for an unforgettable cultural experience.

Lake Bunyonyi is renowned as the deepest lake in Uganda, often referred to as the "Little Switzerland of Uganda." This stunning region is known for its scenic beauty, featuring lush greenery, islands, and crystal-clear waters. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind amidst nature's tranquility.
Guests can enjoy a relaxing time by the lake, or take part in an adventurous canoe trip. As the sun sets over the lake, it creates a breathtaking view that will leave you in awe.

The trek can last from 3 to 10 hours, depending on how far the gorillas are into the forest. Expect to walk long distances through steep, muddy terrain, often under the rain, until you find these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Once you encounter them, the experience of observing the gentle giants up close is truly unique.
For conservation reasons, you will be limited to one hour with the gorillas, but this time is enough to witness their beauty and behavior. A ranger guide will always accompany you to ensure safety and provide insight into the gorillas’ habits and how to behave during the encounter.

After breakfast we drive to Lake Mburo National Park which takes us about four hours with lunch en route. As we enter the park and head towards the accommodation it is likely that you will see some wildlife, like impalas, topis, warthogs, zebras and buffaloes...
After breakfast, we embark on a scenic four-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park, with a stop for lunch en route. As we enter the park, it’s common to spot wildlife such as impalas, topis, warthogs, zebras, and buffaloes along the way. The park offers a wonderful variety of landscapes and is one of Uganda’s smallest national parks, but it is rich in wildlife and bird species.
Upon arrival and check-in, we’ll head out on a boat ride on Lake Mburo, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding nature, as well as spot birds like pelicans, cormorants, and kingfishers. Hippos can often be seen cooling off in the lake.

Early start of the day as we will go for a nature walk guided by a ranger. Lake Mburo is the only national park where you can experience a safari on foot. After breakfast we transfer to Kampala with a stop at the equator for photos or shopping. Arrive Late in the afternoon in Kampala.

After the walk, return for breakfast, and then we embark on a scenic drive back to Kampala. Along the way, we will stop at the equator for photos and souvenir shopping. The equator is a unique spot where you can stand in two hemispheres at once, and it’s a great place for a memorable photo op.
We will arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure.
